BUILDING ON FAITH™ is going AWOL

ATLANTA (June 13, 2012) — Building on Faith™ in conjunction with the Greater Moses Chapel Baptist Church will present the 2012 AWOL Youth Conference and Concert on August 3rd- 4th.  The theme for this year’s event: “AWOL (Another Way of Living™) 4 Christ”, is aimed at empowering the youth of today to pursue spiritual, academic, and civic excellence in their lives.

“We are going AWOL 4 Christ as we equip and empower our youth with innovative ways to fulfill their destiny of greatness,” said Building on Faith’s™ Executive Director, Jocelyn Robinson. “Building our communities starts with our youth. This is an event that we would like for our youth and their parents to look forward to every year.”

The first day of events will include free workshops, youth empowerment classes, seminars, special guest appearances, give-a-ways and a “game night” hosted by Greater Moses Chapel Baptist Church located at 890 Boulevard S.E. Atlanta GA, 30318. The AWOL festivities will climax with a fun filled youth gospel concert at Morehouse College: King’s Chapel, which will include performances by: Patrick Parker Jr., Kiesha Covington, Brien Still and more.
