This past weekend Deion “Primetime” Sanders headed back to Atlanta for his ‘Red & Black Gala’, a fundraiser for his youth foundation, TRUTH.

Its mission is to serve communities by reaching and teaching our youth through sports and education. Deion is committed to developing the stars of tomorrow, which is why he pioneered The Truth Sports. Children ages 5-14 can participate in Football, Track, Baseball, Basketball, Cheerleading and Soccer in Dallas, TX and Atlanta, GA. These young men and women will learn the value of sportsmanship, education, and mentoring; as Deion and his team strive to impact the lives of all who participate. The Truth program offers tutoring, leadership courses, nutrition programs, and other wholesome activities that are beneficial to the entire family.
Deion is very vocal about The Truth foundation being a vision that God gave him. He credits his spiritual mentor as Bishop TD Jakes.
