Last night, FilmDistrict held screenings in New York and Atlanta of the upcoming film Dead Man Down, starring Colin Farrell, Terrence Howard, Noomi Rapace and Dominic Cooper. Reality star Tahiry Jose (“Love & Hip Hop”) and blogger Rae Holliday (StuffFlyPeopleLike.com) hosted the NY screening at the Landmark Sunshine, while HGTV personality/V103 on-air jock Egypt Sherrod and new-to-Atlanta radio vet Big Tigger (also on V103) held down the Atlanta screening at the Landmark Midtown Art Cinema. Reps from outlets including the Associated Press, CNN, ESPN, The Wendy Show, Allure, TheYBF, Complex, EBONY, TheUrbanDaily, Global Grind and more attended both screenings.

This thrilling action movie, Dead Man Down starring Terrace Howard and Colin Farrell started off with enough gun raids and bullets to keep you glued to the screen. But as the movie unfolded, it became a quirky action movie with bits of comedic relief and odd turns. The duo play opposite each other throughout the film about a complex revenge plot but the chemistry was hard to fine. If you’re real big on action films, and not too concern with the storyline of a movie, you should give this one a try.

Dead Man Down opens nationwide on March 8. Visit the film online at www.deadmandownmovie.com.
