Praise 102.5/102.9 in conjunction with Nissan South in Morrow hosted the 9th Annual Praise in the Park, the largest Free Outdoor Inspirational Music concert in the Country last weekend at Centennial Olympic Park in downtown Atlanta.
This year’s star studded line up included Bishop Paul S. Morton, Dottie Peoples, Isaac Caree, James Fortune, Lexi, Smokie Norful, Tasha Cobbs, Tye Tribbett, Veronica Petrucci, Canton Jones, Wess Morgan, Deitrick Haddon and Hezekiah Walker.
The event was absolutely free to the public. Thousands came out to support some of their favorite artists. These attendees are holding up the “Greater Than” symbol, the title of Tye Tribbett’s new cd.
Also, for the third year in a row, Nissan South in Morrow gave away FREE CARS as part of their “Big Blessing” promotion. One of the winners was Patricia Johnson. Her niece Shinitra Russell wrote in to the radio station about being homeless, abandoned and shared many other life struggles. The car came just in time because Shinitra is on her way to college this fall at Presbyterian College in Clinton, SC. She’ll be studying English and Media.
Praise 102.5/102.9 Program Director Derek Harper said, “This is the biggest show ever and it continues to solidify its reputation as the largest Gospel concert in the country”.
