“It’s time we re-build the image of God to the world. What people want is love, truth and results, not just a church service. JubileeMag.com is here to show them all three.”
Kim has counseled and ministered to hundreds of men and women across the country. Although her wisdom impacts individuals of all ages, she specializes in speaking to 18-34 year olds.
“This is the time when you make decisions that will affect the rest of your life. School choices, identity, friendships, relationships, career choices, marital and parenting decisions are typically made between 18-34. If you want a good life, you have to make wise decisions. If people don’t know how to make wise decisions, we have to teach them God’s way of doing things… which is love.”
In 2010 JubileeMag.com was voted Independent Magazine of the Year. In 2013 her mag was nominated for Best Faith-Based Mag. She even created an audio course called, “How To Launch An Online Mag or Blog” to give others the opportunity to pursue their digital dreams. In 2015, Georgia State University picked up the course she created and offered it to their 2600 staff members. In February 2016, Kim was honored as one of Atlanta’s Phenomenal Women.
In addition to publishing her online magazine, Kim has a passion for helping women overcome life’s obstacles. This inspired her to write her first book, “It’s Never Too Late”, set to release Spring 2016. In addition, she expanded her brand by launching iamKimFord.com where she teaches online courses, webinars, workshops and more geared towards personal development and helping entrepreneurs and entertainers get their gift into the world. Kim also teaches a blogging workshop at Georgia State University as a part of their staff’s organizational development series.
In the community, Kim can be found inspiring the youth during Career Day within the Atlanta Public School system, as well as speaking on college campuses like Grambling State University, Spelman College and Morehouse College. She serves as a mentor for the Morehouse College Community Revitalization Initiative (MCCRI) and the Morehouse College Entrepreneurship Center where she speaks with college students about what it takes to succeed in the world of entrepreneurship.
