Mali Music, AGI Entertainment and Destiny Metropolitan Worship Church hosted a pop-up benefit event for hurricane Irma evacuees in Atlanta on Sunday. Hundreds came out to supprt those who travelled to safer grounds from Florida and the south Georgia coast.
With only one day to plan, praises were given, tears were shed, and the people were blessed by the generous heart of Mali Music.
Several other talented singers such as the SangersMovement, Q Parkers group Will & Alexis and the singing group founded by Kandi Burrus, Glamour also took the stage.
The packed house of attendees listened to testimonies from actor Dennis L.A. White and iconic singer Angie Stone that ignited a sense of hope and inspiration.
Non perishable items and monetary donations were collected. A few evacuees were given gas cards to give some relief to the stress of the storm.
