passion 2014

JubileeMag.com was in the building for the first time at the Passion 2014 Conference. I’m here to tell you, it was an experience! Over the weekend 20,000+ college students packed Phillips Arena in downtown Atlanta for the gathering of 18-25 year olds who are passionate about Christ. All 50 states were represented and 1300 colleges were in attendance. Since 1997, the mission of the Passion conference is to see a spiritual awakening come to the college campuses of the nation and the world.

More than a conference organization, the small passion team is led by Louie Giglio and operates under the direction of a board that is committed to spreading the fame of Jesus Christ to the 16+ million college students of the nation and countless others around the globe.

The arena was filled with thousands of 18-25 year olds with their hands raised in worship, eyes closed in reflection, and a LOT of cheering and jumping like it was the Superbowl…but it was all for their passion and love for Christ.

Special guests were John Piper, Christine Caine, Francis Chan and Hillsong United.

Leading the way with intense and quite crunk music were Kristian Stanfill, Grammy and Dove Award winning artists Chris Tomlin, Crowder of The David Crowder Band and more.

The overall message of the weekend was, “Believe for God to do IMMEASURABLY more than you can ask or think!” – Ephesians 3:20.

Houston, you’re next! The Passion Conference will be in Houston February 14-15. Register here.
