Kim Ford is a God-inspired media mogul, speaker, future author / film producer and founder & publisher of JUBILEEmag.com.
As a result of being led by God, Kim recognized how millions of young adults shape their life desires based on television, magazines and music. She needed to do something to re-vamp the entertainment industry. This revelation sparked the birth of a media empire for Christ.
A novice to the media industry, Kim began to read books about magazine publishing, attended media panels, asked questions and even enrolled in a few journalism classes. Her best learning experience came from just getting out there on the red carpet and doing it.
Within one year, Kim interviewed industry and ministry greats like Danny Glover, Quincy Jones, Pastor Mason Betha, Pastor Paula White, Tye Tribbett, Fonzworth Bentley, Chris ‘Ludacris’ Bridges, Chris Tucker, Deitrick Haddon, Canton Jones, Mary Mary, Tyrese, Angela & Vanessa Simmons, Rev Run and the list goes on.
She’s covered high profile events like the BET Hip Hop Awards, Soul Train Awards, Dove Awards, and Trumpet Awards. She’s was also invited to cover private film screenings in conjunction with Sony Pictures (Jumping the Broom), Disney (Mars Needs Moms, Prom, Tangled), Warner Brothers (Joyful Noise), Twentieth Century Fox (Red Tails), and many others.
“It’s time we re-build the image of God to the world. What people want is love, truth and results, not just a church service. JUBILEE mag is here to show them all three.”
Kim has counseled and ministered to hundreds of men and women across the country. Although her wisdom impacts individuals of all ages, she specializes in speaking to 18-34 year olds.
“This is the time when you make decisions that will affect the rest of your life. School choices, identity, friendships, relationships, career choices, marital and parenting decisions are typically made between 18-34. If you want a good life, you have to make wise decisions. If people don’t know how to make wise decisions, we have to teach them God’s way of doing things… which is love.”
Currently, Kim teaches at El Elyon Church International in Atlanta. She also volunteers on their events team and communications team.
With thousands of Facebook and Twitter supporters (including numerous celebs like Stacey Dash, The Oprah Show, Michelle Williams, Fonzworth Bentley, Joyce Meyer, Essence Magazine, Vibe Magazine, ASCAP, Deitrick Haddon and more) JubileeMag.com is set to be a major influence to this generation.
Ms. Ford can be found inspiring the youth during Career Day within the Atlanta Public School system, as well as other speaking engagements at Spelman College, Clark Atlanta University, at a Youth Leadership Summit sponsored by the National MBA Association and at BEEP, a mentoring program reaching more than 750,000 college students.
Kim has a heart to see teens, college students, singles, and married couples obtain their God-given dream life. She is greatly humbled of His blessing and favor on her life and accepts the assignment of being a ‘billboard’ for the Kingdom of God. She gives Him all the glory and credits her success to Him and her Pastors, Mason & Twyla Betha.
