Jubilee Mag was front and center for the Women’s SuperStars Luncheon during the BronzeLens Film Festival. Legendary and emerging stars in front of and behind the lens who have significantly influenced the film and television industry received awards this past weekend at the Westin Peachtree Plaza Atlanta. Honorees were award-winning director, writer and producer Neema Barnette (QUEEN SUGAR, BEING MARY JANE, THE BREAKS), veteran television and theater actress Crystal Fox (THE HAVE AND HAVE NOTS, IN THE HEAT OF THE NIGHT) and award-winning filmmaker Nefertite Nguvu (IN THE MORNING, U.N.I.T.Y. Re-ignighted, BLACK AMERICA AGAIN).
BronzeLens Women SuperStars Luncheon is one of the most significant events in the southeast to celebrate and honor the achievements of women of color. It has become a must-attend signature event for film production insiders, corporations and the local community.
