Grambling st vs North Carolina Central

The highly anticipated celebration bowl is back! And will be played this weekend, Saturday December 17th at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta Ga. The match-up will feature (9-2) North Carolina Central Eagles (MEAC) led by this year’s (MEAC) conference coach of the year recipient, Mr. Jerry Mack, who will take on the (11-1) Grambling State Tigers (SWAC) led by 3rd year head coach Broderick Fobbs. Both teams will be looking to take home all the bragging rights and of course claim the HBCU Football National Championship.

The Grambling State Tigers look to continue their regular season hot streak behind outstanding Junior Quarterback Devante Kincade, recipient of the Ben L. Cavil, Sr. “Big Ben” Award. He will look to led his #1 ranked offense to victory against a pretty good North Carolina Central defense ranked 4th in the (MEAC) conference.

As for North Carolina Central they will be looking for big games and quick scores from Quarterback Malcolm Bell and his go to receiver LaVontis Smith. These two have had a great season thus far, but will need to bring their “A” game if the Eagles want any chance of winning against the #1 ranked defense of the Tigers in the (SWAC) conference.

The doors open to the Georgia Dome at 9:30 AM EST (8:30 CST) and the game kicks off at Noon EST (11 AM CST). The full schedule of events is listed below.
