The Eastern Conference definitely has some talented teams and remarkable players that could give the Cavs a run for their money, but when you speak about beating this team in a seven game series, Oh man, you better slow your roll.

So far the Cavs have dismantled the Indiana Pacers 4-0 in the first round of the playoffs and then showed the Toronto Raptors why they are the team to beat in the east with a 4-0 sweep.

It has been quite a while since we have witnessed a team without a player named Lebron James playing for a NBA title in the Eastern Conference.

James hasn’t been to just one or two NBA finals but six of them consecutively. Who makes it to six straight NBA finals anymore? Well, the last person to do it was 50 years ago by the legendary Bill Russel. Therefore if you know sports then you know being in a category with that man makes you a special player.

But what makes the Cavaliers so deadly?

Simple, Kyrie Irving playing as the silent assassin and being the deadliest weapon on the Cavs. He is a pure scorer who can shoot, pass and don’t even try guarding him close, I have seen too many ankles broken and spirits diminished. Irving is an essential piece to the unstoppable Cavs.

But you can’t forget about the rest of the team.

Kevin Love, the big man who can shoot you out of the gym, rebound, pass and take you to the basket at will. He creates such a mismatch for defenders because of his size and capability to create offense for the team.

Mr. Hustle himself, Tristan Thompson, this guy is everywhere on the court and he is an offensive rebound waiting to happen. He gives that defensive presence in the inside that the Cavs need. Thompson is definitely a big part of this teams success.

And to round out the supporting cast that make this team so hard to beat; Channing Frye, Richard Jefferson, JR Smith, Iman Shumpert, Dahntay Jones and Deron Williams.

Aside from most teams that have a great starting 5, this team has a talented bench to go with it which we have seen throughout the playoffs thus far.

In saying this, there is no team in the Eastern Conference who will beat the Cleveland Cavaliers but there is one team that I can bet my car on that will hand them more than one “Loss” in the NBA championship game.

The Golden State Warriors.
